A tribute to Qatar’s exciting restaurant scene, B-Lounge, Doha stands at the city’s social epicentre. Expertly blending creative cuisine with a unique lifestyle experience, this superb Marina-side location is a masterclass in sophistication and Qatari charisma.

Part of the Buddha Bar brand’s international vision to combine chic dining with an innovative soundtrack and lounge vibes, this interpretation of the concept adds a dose of Middle Eastern glamour.

The restaurant has an inside/outdoor set-up, illustrated by the stylish fabric ceiling that mimics the fluidity of the surrounding waters. Out on the teak decking, you sit at high-top bar tables and stools or relax in comfy armchairs and sofas, whilst indoors, wood, leather and bronze offer contrasting elements. Taste the culinary art of Asian-fusion cuisine, where flavours from around the world take guests on an exciting gastronomic journey. From light and fluffy tempura to delicious sushi platters and specials from the Robata grill, each dish is created entirely from scratch, using exceptional ingredients sourced from the globe’s finest suppliers.

Head Chef Lambert Chiang, inspired by his family’s restaurant, has long enjoyed an unwavering enthusiasm for homemade food, crafting traditional recipes with an unexpected twist. His creative vision and extensive experience enrich B-Lounge’s position as an enticing culinary destination.

The service was impeccable and having a varied menu allowed for a multi-cuisine approach without compromise.

We were at all times well looked after, to say the least, and tried a number of dishes including, Chicken Salad, Lobster Dumplings, Ikura Nigi, Salmon Sushi, Eel Nigi, Hamachi Sashi, Tuna Sashi, Mango roll, Tajima Wagyu beef, French Fries with a Fruit Platter and Yuzu Cheesecake for dessert. All the dishes were impressive and full of flavour, portion sizes were good and every item was very well presented. It was just a shame we really could not finish the dishes and it would be a great place for a group of people to attend and share the dishes so you can also experience the great menu.

I was especially impressed by the take on the chicken salad being sharp and fresh on the pallet followed by the amazing Tajima Wagyu beef which I can still taste along with some just amazing homemade condiments, truly impressive. I could not even walk after so much food but we could not leave without a taste of the dessert which again was simply divine. I would highly recommend a visit and go with an empty stomach or take a few people along with you and just relax and enjoy the meal.
